DVM Student Externship - Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center
Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center (OPVMC) is a collaborative, 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital. This externship offers veterinary students the opportunity to work alongside an experienced team of emergency clinicians, specialists, licensed veterinary technicians, and support staff, gaining exposure to a wide variety of urgent and complex cases in a fast-paced, fully equipped facility.

Responsibilities
- Participate in the evaluation and treatment of urgent and complex cases in a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital setting.
- Collaborate with emergency clinicians, specialists, licensed veterinary technicians, and support staff.
- Engage in a mentorship-focused environment to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Must be an active veterinary student from an AVMA-accredited institution.
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.
- 1st through 4th year veterinary students are eligible.
