DVM Student Externship

About the role

We are seeking a Full Time DVM to join our team at our Marion and Herrin locations. Our hospital has a team of 6 veterinarians and 35 support staff, providing comprehensive care and offering flexible scheduling, pro-sal compensation, and full benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary care to patients under the supervision of licensed veterinarians.
• Assist in diagnostic procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and treatment in electronic health records.
• Communicate effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.

Open Monday through Saturday.

Pay

Pro-sal compensation model.

We are a well-established small animal hospital + exotics with 4 busy locations across Southern Illinois. Our main hospital is located in Herrin, IL with satellite locations in Carbondale, Marion & Harrisburg. All locations are equipped with a full pharmacy, laboratory and surgical suites.
