DVM Student Externship - Animal Clinic of Ozarks

The Animal Clinic of the Ozarks in Flippin is located within the Arkansas Ozark Mountains. Flippin, Arkansas is a safe, friendly community offering top-tier fishing and outdoor recreation between Bull Shoals Lake, the White River, and the Buffalo National River. The clinic is a growing two-doctor general practice with a loyal clientele base, providing services such as in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, and laser therapy. The team operates in a close-knit, family-like environment.

About the role

We’re looking for 1st through 4th year veterinary students who are compassionate, team-oriented, and strong communicators. This externship offers real-world experience to enhance your education.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in a general veterinary practice.
• Assist with in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, and laser therapy.
• Develop communication skills through interaction with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be an active veterinary student from an AVMA-accredited institution.
