About the role
FleetPride Service Center is growing and we are looking for a Heavy-duty Wrecker Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at work daily on time
- Work on-call scheduling when needed
- Maintain wrecker cleanliness
- Work as part of a team
- Drive in all weather conditions while operating the vehicle with safety precautions
- Work outside your comfort zone in challenging situations
- Operate a heavy-duty wrecker for towing and recovery work
- Use problem-solving skills and self-motivation
- Perform basic mechanical tasks such as running air to units, dropping and reinstalling drive lines or axles
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Class A CDL
- Experience operating a heavy-duty wrecker (rotator experience is a plus)
- Experience with heavy-duty maintenance and repairs
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems
Pay
The salary range for this position is $16.00 – $19.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
