Qualifications

This position requires:

  • Knowledge of methods, processes, and materials used in stencil, ditto, and basic machine duplication
  • Operation and care of ditto, Xerox, and other basic duplicating machines
  • Basic record keeping and inventory methods and techniques
  • Basic store/concessions operations
  • Skill to understand and carry out directions independently
  • Ability to quickly learn to operate and maintain a cash register and designated food service equipment
  • Ability to train and supervise student workers
  • Knowledge of basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Skill to operate duplicating machines efficiently and economically
  • Ability to establish and maintain a daily work schedule
  • Ability to prepare and maintain simple records and production reports
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships
  • Typing skills sufficient to perform required duties
  • One year of general clerical experience, including operation of duplicating machines
  • Ability to read, write, and perform math calculations at a level necessary for the position

Preferred qualifications include experience in retail sales or equivalent training/experience. Upon placement, the employee must obtain a Food Safety Certificate if not already in possession. A pre-employment medical assessment and criminal history check will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate duplicating machines (e.g., Xerox, ditto) to reproduce printed materials
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of duplicating projects
  • Maintain safe and proper operation of duplicating machines
  • Operate an on-campus student store and maintain adequate stock and inventory
  • Direct and supervise student assistants
  • Perform routine but responsible tasks related to store/concession operations
  • Apply specialized procedures and methods for stocking and retailing activities

Pay

Starting salary: $3,190.03 (monthly).

Schedule

  • 10-month position (to begin as soon as possible)
  • 8 hours daily (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
