Position Responsibilities
- Follow the production schedule given by the crew chief.
- Inspect the line to verify the raw materials are the correct ones (insulation, core, jacket, and UL labels) according to the product specification sheets.
- Fill out duct line operator first article & safety log and GAP analysis sheets.
- Make the necessary changes to Mandrel, glass guide basket, and UL labels for product changes when necessary.
- Adjust the label gun to the date code corresponding to the date.
- Load the core tray with core, foil (silver) jackets onto machine table or black jacker onto reel holder, and load insulation into the insulation feeder machine.
- Put the jackets on the Mandrel and start the jacket winder.
- Operate the Duct Machine.
- Roll the product to the bagger when complete.
- Maintain area and always keep clean.
- Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.

Experience
- Prior machine operator experience preferred but not mandatory
Education/Certification
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
- Manufacturing environment with forklift traffic
- PPE required: steel toed safety shoes, safety glasses with side shields, and gloves
- Standing (up to 90%), walking (up to 10%), stooping or bending, reaching, twisting and turning
- Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 40 lbs
- Hand Eye Coordination, handling tools and other objects (holding, grasping), repetitive wrist motion (flexion/rotation), and repetitive foot movements (Foot Pedals)
