Duchess Team Member FT/PT (Cashier) 2nd and 3rd shifts

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation
• Process transactions efficiently using modern POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments)
• Maintain a clean and organized store—inside and out
• Stock shelves and manage inventory to ensure customers find what they need
• Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales
• Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards, our loyalty program offering the best prices and offers to customers
• Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency

Requirements

• Customer-focused mindset—you love helping people
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling
• Previous retail or food service experience is a plus, but not required
• Comfort with technology—we use modern tools to make work easier
• Physical ability to perform duties including walking, standing, squatting, lifting, carrying, and reaching
• Ability to work in demanding circumstances including variable temperatures, indoors and outdoors
