Dual Therapist

Title: Dual Diagnosis Therapist Location: Title: Dual Diagnosis Therapist Location: Milford,VA Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a Dual Diagnosis Therapist to provide comprehensive behavioral health services to clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Roles & Responsibilities Serve as primary therapist and conduct clinical assessments.Develop individualized dual diagnosis treatment plans.Provide individual, group, family, and couples therapy as appropriate.Provide trauma-informed care and PTSD treatment.Support relapse prevention and substance-use recovery.Facilitate process, psychoeducational, trauma recovery, life skills, and relapse prevention groups.Complete timely clinical documentation, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.Collaborate with psychiatrists, APRNs, counselors, nurses, and other clinicians.Develop discharge and aftercare plans.Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Virginia regulations, TJC standards, and organizational policies. Education, Licensure, And Experience Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field.Active Virginia license or eligibility for LPC, QMHP, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD).Experience treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.Experience with trauma-informed care and PTSD treatment.Strong individual/group therapy and treatment-planning experience.EHR and Microsoft Office proficiency.CPR/First Aid certification and current TB screening.Valid driver's license and ability to pass required background/drug screening.RTC, addiction treatment, family therapy, and Joint Commission experience preferred.
