Arizona Elementary Teacher Certification Required and a bilingual endorsement. Spanish proficiency (reading, writing, oral) by an accredited university assessment. SEI endorsement preferred.

• 2026/2027 school year
• 194 work days (216 day teacher calendar)
• Locations are Norte & Lagos
• Start Date: July 8, 2026 (New Teachers)

Salary link: Certified Future Requirement: Literacy Endorsement (unless you hold a Reading K-8, Reading K-12 or Reading Specialist K-12 endorsement)

Timeline

• Timeline for teachers certified on or before 8/1/2025: until 8/1/2028 to obtain the literacy endorsement.
• Timeline for teachers certified after 8/1/2025: 3 years from certificate issuance to obtain the literacy endorsement.
• Timeline for graduates from AZ colleges in 2025: should have completed the coursework and should have the certificate on their licenses.
