About the Role

Teach a History dual credit course at Grayslake Central High School. This position requires currently or will be teaching History at Grayslake Central High School.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in History or
• Master’s Degree in a related field and eighteen (18) graduate semester hours (or equivalent) of study in a history-related field
• Eligibility to work with secondary (high school) and post-secondary students, in-person and virtually, in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including the Illinois School Code and Faith's Law

Employment Conditions

• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a post-offer fingerprint-based criminal history records check, Employment History Review, and any other screening or clearance requirements mandated by state or federal law and applicable school district policies or procedures
• Continued employment is subject to maintaining eligibility and clearances

Pay

Salaries for Dual Credit Adjuncts are paid through their high school district. The College of Lake County may provide stipends for specific professional development activities.
