DTF Final QC/Shipper

About the role

As a Digital Fusion Specialist, you will be responsible for the heat transfers of names, logos, and numbers on a variety of apparel. You will respond to work orders, set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment, and perform direct physical activity to complete work orders in a timely manner while meeting customer quality specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders, observe specifications and any special notes, and prepare the work area to start printing multi-color work.
• Manually print designs and numbers.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press machine, making minor adjustments as needed to correct issues.
• Ensure the press is kept clean, wiped down with press wash at least once per week.
• Maintain the press and work area during and before the end of the shift, including disposing of trash, cleaning ink spills, and cleaning used screens and squeegees by scraping off excess ink.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Ability to speak and read English instructions.
• Direct physical activity is required to maintain productivity levels while meeting high-quality specifications.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must follow orders and proper machine operating procedures.
• Learn tasks quickly, be detail-oriented, accuracy-driven, a team player, and punctual.
• Differentiate and coordinate colors.
• Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand for long periods of time.
• Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis.
• Lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Schedule

Monday – Friday; 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM. Mandatory overtime, which may include some Saturdays and Sundays.
