Major Areas of Accountability
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, servicing both new and existing customers.
- Engage in lead generation from referrals, online ads, and other marketing campaigns; follow up with product offerings.
- Provide clear, professional communication about product applications, medical procedures, and troubleshooting issues with end users, clinics and medical offices.
- Support patients in enrolling in Comfort Medical Services and assisting them in choosing the best products for their needs.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of product offerings, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
- Demonstrate effective sales techniques to drive conversions and meet set activity and sales goals.
- Collaborate with field and internal teams to strengthen customer relationships and meet sales objectives.
- Provide education on distribution, reimbursement, and insurance policies related to product offerings.
- Document all customer interactions thoroughly, ensuring high data quality and self-auditing of work.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in CRM systems and documentation software (e.g., Brightree, Salesforce).
- Provide reporting and feedback on campaign performance and customer feedback.
Basic Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and achieving performance metrics.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex product information to end users with clarity and empathy.
- Willingness to engage in telephone sales and marketing activities.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and an ability to handle challenging customer situations with professionalism. Ability to maintain composure under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting all work and interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in a contact center or sales environment, preferably in healthcare or medical sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with intermediate computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry practices and regulations is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and systems like Brightree is a plus.
