Responsibilities

  • Reading, understanding, and interpreting Bill of Materials (BOM), drawings, schematics, work instructions, and specifications to complete assignments without (or limited) supervision.
  • Selection and preparation of materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete tasks.
  • Obtaining and/or preparing all necessary parts & materials, then performing assigned assembly of appropriate parts.
  • Operating cranes and hoists as needed.
  • Performing repairs, either inside or outside tank.
  • Training, assisting, and mentoring new team members in assembly.
  • Maintaining quality and production records.
  • Performing any related tasks as deemed necessary by supervision.

Requirements

Basic:

  • Ability to work evening or night shift.
  • Able to work limited overtime, including Saturdays and/or Sundays, if necessary.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and drawings.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematics and computations.
  • Adhere to assigned schedule.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in basic English communications.
  • Resides or intends to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington, Missouri.
  • Has current work authorization for employment within the United States.
  • Internal candidates: bid process per Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
  • External candidates must complete: Application, Talent Assessment, job interview, pre-employment drug screen, and background check.
  • Safety-sensitive position: Drug panel includes THC.

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous manufacturing experience.
