POSITION: DSST Sports Coach
GRADE LEVEL: High School
LOCATION: College View High School

STATUS: Seasonal fixed term, temporary, benefits in-eligible (does not qualify for benefits outlined in total rewards), in-person position

Available Coaching Positions

  • Boys Volleyball JV Coach
    Season Dates: 2/20/2026 - 5/10/2026
    Stipend Amount: $2,000

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated belief in all students and the mission of DSST.
Strong character and belief in the core values of DSST.
An ability to work and collaborate across lines of difference.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities at one time.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Knowledge of the game and passion for sportsmanship.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate relentless drive to improve the athletic skills, minds and lives of students
  • Live and model the school’s core values with colleagues, students, parents, officials, fans, and the larger community
  • To reinforce the school’s core values, guiding philosophy, rules, and school spirit
  • Exhibit mastery and enthusiasm for sportsmanship
  • All coaches must be willing and able to be trained and approved to drive our activity buses.

Physical Demands

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
