We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician (BT), Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or equivalent to join our team. In this role, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and provide direct, two-on-one or one-on-one support to clients.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs as developed by the client's Individual Program Plan (IPP) and Supported Living Services Assessment
- Collect accurate and consistent data on client progress and behavior
- Maintain professional and supportive relationships with clients and their families
- Communicate observations and progress updates to your supervisor
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality at all times
- Participate in team meetings and required training sessions
- Support clients in areas such as community access, personal care, medical appointments, peer interactions, and recreational activities
Requirements
- Be 21+ years old
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Reliable transportation and a valid CA Driver's License
- Must pass a background check
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or related conditions preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to implement behavioral strategies consistently and effectively
- Previous experience in human services is a plus
