DSP Residential - Guilderland

Pay Range: $19.45-$25.05/hr plus an Elite benefit package. This pay range reflects 20+ years of experience/education.

Schedule

• Sun: 6pm-10pm
• Mon: 4pm-10pm
• Tues: 4pm-10pm
• Wed: 4pm-10pm
• 22 hrs/week
• Benefit-eligible part-time position

About the Role

Wildwood Programs is a provider of educational, residential, employment, and other community-based supports to people with disabilities and their families. We hire those dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives.

We are looking for caring, compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work in a residential setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Valid NYS license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

• Professional, patient, and positive attitude
• Strong desire to help others
• Enjoys teamwork

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities such as cooking, doing laundry, and running errands
• Teach people with disabilities how to perform tasks independently
• Take individuals to appointments and activities
• Write notes as needed
• Help with tasks like cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, shopping, and managing money
• Other duties as needed
