DSP: Day Program Aide (Mon-Fri 1st shift)

Responsibilities
- Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – fostering increased independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring their health and safety.
- Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of their life.
- Transporting the individuals between their homes and the Day Program using a company passenger van.
- Providing personal care assistance.
- Participating in community outings through the transportation and assistance of the individuals served.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver's license.
- A Motor Vehicle Record meeting ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
- The ability to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs., and the ability to climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
