Responsibilities

• Assist with planning a variety of daily activities
• Community activities may include options such as lunch outings, visiting local parks, working out at the gym, and volunteering at the food pantry
• Assist with developing skills in gardening, cooking, baking, dancing, arts and crafts, playing games, and communication
• Engage in conversation with the individuals we serve and develop lasting relationships while promoting personal growth and making choices
• Assist with developing everyday living skills
• Help develop coping skills

Requirements

• 18 years of age
• Minimum Education of High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Basic computer skills
• Good written and verbal communications are needed
• Previous experience working with individuals with mental and/or physical disabilities preferred
• Background check
