DSP, Community Living Services/Residential (Saturday/Sunday, 9:00am-3:00pm - Dedicated Services)

Responsibilities

• Help individuals achieve their personal goals and fulfill their dreams with a “person-centered” focus.
• Teach independent living and daily skills to the individuals, identifying and meeting their social, environmental, and health care needs.
• Plan, coordinate, and participate in social activities and community outings with the individuals.
• Instruct, support, and assist in performing household tasks such as cleaning, preparing meals, and shopping for groceries.

Qualifications

• Earned High School Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Able to communicate effectively with the individuals to whom services are provided.
• Experience in a residential setting serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or with other types of special needs populations.
