About the role

Pride’s Gracefully Aging & Life Skills Program seeks an upbeat, compassionate, and reliable Direct Support Professional to support individuals in growing independence, confidence, and daily living skills while fostering well‑being, building relationships, planning community activities, coordinating transportation, supporting goal attainment, promoting health and safety, assisting with medication protocols, and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals as they grow in independence, confidence, and daily living skills
• Foster well‑being and autonomy by empowering individuals to make choices and take charge of their own lives
• Build meaningful relationships through warm, positive interaction and role modeling
• Plan engaging community activities and help coordinate transportation
• Support people in reaching their goals through structured programming, observation, and teaching
• Promote health and safety while assisting with medication protocols and therapeutic interventions
• Keep clear records and collaborate in team meetings

Requirements

• A kind heart, good energy, and a genuine desire to support people with disabilities
• High school diploma preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in the human services field preferred
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and assist with transitioning or transferring
• Valid ND driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to grow through training, learning, and being a team player

Schedule

Full‑Time, 40 Hours/Week, 6:45 AM – 4:30 PM
