DSI Territory Sales Representative - Millerville, MD

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Trips to customer locations to present company products, services, and pricing information professionally
• Sets up appropriate paperwork for management, including expense reports and call reports
• Maintains detailed records for sales forecasts, territory analysis, call programs, and delivery routes
• Collects and reports competitive information to management
• Attends training sessions and trade shows to present company products and services
• Proposes additions or modifications to the company's product offerings
• Provides accurate product information and assists customers in making informed decisions
• Documents customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Assists in providing technical support to customers
• Resolves customer complaints and issues in a timely manner
• Trains other sales representatives as needed
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Position Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging customers in discussions about products and purchases
• Ability to influence others through knowledge and expertise
• Maintains confidentiality and discretion with business information
• Effective communication skills, able to present information clearly in one-on-one and group settings
• Problem-solving skills, able to handle standard issues in a standardized manner
• Acceptable driving record as per the insurer's guidelines
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor’s degree preferred
• Three to five years of experience in the wholesale water industry preferred

• Regularly sits and talks or hears
• Frequently uses hands to finger, handle, or feel and to reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision
• Must regularly stand, walk, and climb or balance
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

• Salary commensurate with experience

• Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
