About the role
In this role, you won't just manage nutrition — you'll support recovery for individuals in a behavioral health setting. Your work directly contributes to patient stability, treatment progress, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Improve continuity of care through reliable, patient-centered nutrition services
- Deliver assessments and interventions that support patient health and recovery
- Independently manage a clinical caseload with consistent, timely nutrition care
- Build strong partnerships with interdisciplinary treatment teams across wards
- Adapt to varying unit needs and provide coverage during staff absences
- Contribute to a stable and collaborative dietetics team environment
- Engage effectively with patients in a behavioral health setting
Requirements
- Are a Registered Dietitian certified with Washington state
- Have experience providing clinical nutrition care
- Are comfortable working in a structured healthcare or institutional setting
- Value a consistent schedule and team-based environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, or institutional settings
- Experience working within interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Experience managing multiple or shifting caseloads
