DSD Receiver/Price Maintenance Clerk FT

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of DSD vendor activities to ensure proper and accurate receiving of product.
  • Maintain a daily DSD receiving and discrepancy log.
  • Update system files as needed.
  • Ensure a back-up receiving clerk is always trained and available.
  • Report discrepancies or pricing problems immediately to a supervisor and the Pricing Department.
  • Handle damaged merchandise according to Damage Reclaim procedures.
  • Verify and audit prices in various categories, including DSD, MDI, Perishable departments, and ad items.
  • Update prices in associated systems and on shelves, including displaying signs and tags.
  • Audit scan error logs and make necessary updates.
  • Ensure proper execution of DSD price changes and shelf tag placement.
  • Maintain organizational standards in accordance with 5S/Simplify practices.
  • Follow security and shrink procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. constantly.
  • Ability to read and understand information and direction.
  • Knowledge of DSD/Scanning operations.
  • Ability to work well with technology.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Effective communication and guest service skills.
  • Excellent math skills.
  • Ability to push a pallet jacket, bend and kneel for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
