Responsibilities
- Oversight of DSD vendor activities to ensure proper and accurate receiving of product.
- Maintain a daily DSD receiving and discrepancy log.
- Update system files as needed.
- Ensure a back-up receiving clerk is always trained and available.
- Report discrepancies or pricing problems immediately to a supervisor and the Pricing Department.
- Handle damaged merchandise according to Damage Reclaim procedures.
- Verify and audit prices in various categories, including DSD, MDI, Perishable departments, and ad items.
- Update prices in associated systems and on shelves, including displaying signs and tags.
- Audit scan error logs and make necessary updates.
- Ensure proper execution of DSD price changes and shelf tag placement.
- Maintain organizational standards in accordance with 5S/Simplify practices.
- Follow security and shrink procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. constantly.
- Ability to read and understand information and direction.
- Knowledge of DSD/Scanning operations.
- Ability to work well with technology.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
- Effective communication and guest service skills.
- Excellent math skills.
- Ability to push a pallet jacket, bend and kneel for extended periods of time.
- Excellent organizational skills.
