Drywaller/Painter

Key Responsibilities

• Finish drywall surfaces to achieve a smooth, even, and professional appearance
• Apply primer, paint, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and surfaces in restoration projects
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and patching imperfections
• Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to complete projects on time and within scope
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and ensure a clean work environment

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in drywall finishing and painting, preferably in the restoration industry
• Proficiency in drywall taping, sanding, and finishing techniques
• Strong knowledge of painting methods, materials, and surface preparation
• Able to read and interpret project specifications and blueprints
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency situations, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 - 5 years of experience as a drywall finisher and painter
• Valid driver’s license
• Good knowledge of the tools, materials, and methods used in drywall and ceiling finishing
• Ability to interpret construction blueprints
• Knowledge of the applicable safety guidelines
• Basic math skills
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Physically fit and able to work long hours
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
