About the role

We’re hiring an experienced Drywall & Painting Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality finishes, communicates clearly, and shows up ready to work every day. You’ll handle repairs, texture matching, Level 5 finishing, and professional painting on residential and light commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Drywall repair — small and large patches, crack repair, water-damage restoration
• Level 5 finishing — skim coating, surface prep, flawless final surfaces
• Texture matching — orange peel, knockdown, hand textures, custom blends
• Interior painting — brush, roll, spray, cut-in work, color matching
• Jobsite professionalism — communication, cleanliness, customer interaction
• Daily travel — reliable transportation to jobs across the local service area
• Able to assess repairs and recommend best-practice solutions
• Consistent, high-quality craftsmanship

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in drywall finishing and/or painting
• Proven ability to perform Level 5 finish work
• Expert texture matching skills across multiple texture types
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading and writing English
• Must have dependable transportation
• Self-starter who can work independently
• Customer-friendly communication style
