This role requires someone who is dependable, trustworthy, and service-minded. As a Dryer Vent Technician, you will install, clean, repair, and maintain dryer vent systems for residential and commercial clients. You’ll use your mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues, while also providing excellent customer service with professionalism and respect. There are times where work on a ladder is required, so you must be comfortable working on a ladder 15 to 20 feet. Duties And Responsibilities Install, clean, repair, and maintain dryer vent systemsConduct inspections of dryer vent systems to identify problems or issuesDiagnose and troubleshoot problems with dryer vent systemsRecommend repairs or replacements to clients based on the system’s conditionProvide excellent customer service with honesty and respectMaintain accurate records of services provided and report any issues to managementAdhere to safety regulations and company protocols at all timesContinuously improve knowledge and skills through training and industry best practicesReroute dryer vent systems when needed and ensure compliance with codeOccasional light air duct cleaning Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent requiredComfort using tools and equipmentExperience as a Dryer Vent Technician or in a similar hands-on role (preferred, but training available)Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of HVAC systems (a plus)Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems independentlyExcellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skillsHigh character and personal integrity—you can be trusted to represent the company wellAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver’s license and reliable transportationPhysical ability to lift equipment and work in crawl spaces, attics, and on roofsComfortable using simple tablet-based technology This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
