About the role

Work for one of the premier employers in Wyoming at the Lost Creek Project North of Rawlins. Join the Lost Creek Team as a Dryer Operator. Ur-Energy is an innovative, industry-leading ISR uranium company operating the Lost Creek mine in south-central Wyoming. Production operations began at Lost Creek in 2013 and, to date, we have produced ~2.7Mlbs U3O8. Our second Wyoming uranium project, Shirley Basin has all major regulatory authorizations and stands construction ready. Be a part of the solution: nuclear energy is clean energy!

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the filter press and yellowcake dryer in the uranium recovery processing plant.
• Package yellowcake and maintain operations records and logbooks.
• Collect samples and occasionally perform basic laboratory functions, using results in dryer and filter press operations.
• Perform routine inspections and minor repairs, and identify additional maintenance needs.
• Communicate with other facility teams to ensure a productive and safe work environment.
• Work a day‑time shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and/or one‑to‑three months or more related experience and training.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with chemicals.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S.
