About the role

As a Drops Field Supervisor, you'll provide communication and leadership to the Foreman and crews, supervising the day-to-day aspects of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations
  • Ensure job completion of assigned projects
  • Provide communication and leadership to job Foremen and crew members
  • Organize materials, equipment, and labor
  • Verify locates, materials, and billings
  • Provide all required job reporting
  • Complete as-builts and redlines
  • Actively participate in and take responsibility for safety, maintenance, production, and personnel-related initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • Previous utility construction crew leadership experience is required
  • Experience working with telecommunication MSA contracts is strongly preferred
  • Good computer skills, specifically database software and Excel
  • Prior experience working with Google applications is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
  • Class A CDL license is a plus

Work Environment / Physical Demands

  • Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking
  • Occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, or twisting on concrete, dirt, or gravel surfaces
  • Frequent use of sight (specifically close vision to perform computer work), hearing, and voice
  • Use of hands, arms, and fingers to perform routine and repetitive tasks
  • Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs
  • Occasional work in adverse weather conditions and on uneven surfaces
  • Wear required personal protective equipment if needed
