Drone Pilot Network Lead Generator
About the role
We are looking for a proactive, commercially minded Lead Generator who can take ownership of the front end of Inspekt AI’s Drone Pilot Network pipeline. This role goes beyond finding contact information or sending outreach emails. The successful candidate will research potential drone operators and companies, determine whether they are genuinely relevant to Inspekt AI, conduct targeted outreach, manage follow-ups, hold qualification meetings, assess potential partners, and move qualified operators through the Drone Pilot Network pipeline.
The role requires someone who can understand why a lead is relevant before contacting them and progressively develop enough knowledge of Inspekt AI’s product, inspection methodology, drone requirements, and partnership model to conduct credible first-level conversations independently. Candidates must have a solid working knowledge of the drone industry and be comfortable discussing drone operations, equipment, certifications, inspection applications, and operator capabilities. They must also demonstrate the commercial judgment and technical understanding required to assess whether a potential partner is suitable for Inspekt AI’s operational requirements.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys research, prospecting, conversations, relationship building, and turning opportunities into a structured pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Lead Research and Sourcing
- Research and identify freelance drone pilots, professional drone operators, drone service companies, and potential regional or national operational partners.
- Build geographic coverage according to Inspekt AI’s current and anticipated project pipeline.
- Use LinkedIn, industry databases, search engines, professional networks, directories, referrals, and prospecting platforms to identify potential partners.
- Research each potential lead sufficiently to understand who they are and why they may be relevant to Inspekt AI.
- Distinguish professional drone operators from manufacturers, resellers, training companies, photographers, real estate companies, helicopter operators, or other businesses that may appear in drone-related searches but are not relevant to the Drone Pilot Network.
- Identify the geographic markets in which operators can realistically provide services.
- Research available information regarding equipment, certifications, inspection experience, operational capabilities, and company structure.
- Identify companies that could provide scalable geographic coverage rather than approaching every opportunity solely as an individual pilot relationship.
- Prioritize sourcing activity according to operational requirements and geographic coverage gaps.
- Avoid duplicate, irrelevant, or insufficiently researched leads.
- Outreach and Lead Generation
- Conduct consistent outbound prospecting to potential drone pilots, operators, and companies.
- Execute cold outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone, and other appropriate channels.
- Personalize outreach according to the type of prospect and potential partnership opportunity.
- Clearly introduce Inspekt AI and explain the purpose of the Drone Pilot Network.
- Generate interest in working with Inspekt AI on a project-by-project basis.
- Adapt communication depending on whether the prospect is an individual pilot, drone company, potential strategic partner, existing contact, or previously screened lead.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up with prospects who have not responded.
- Identify and test improvements to outreach messaging, channels, targeting, and follow-up strategies.
- Maintain a professional and credible representation of Inspekt AI in every external interaction.
- Qualification Meetings
- Schedule and conduct qualification meetings with prospective drone operators and companies.
- Explain Inspekt AI’s business, inspection model, Drone Pilot Network, and partnership opportunities clearly and professionally.
- Assess potential partners based on:
- Geographic location and operational coverage
- Drone equipment
- Licenses and certifications
- Insurance
- Inspection and data-capture experience
- Relevant project experience
- Availability
- Commercial structure
- Willingness to work on a project-by-project basis
- Permitting and airspace authorization capabilities
- Overall suitability for Inspekt AI projects
- Ask appropriate follow-up questions rather than relying exclusively on a fixed script.
- Identify inconsistencies, missing information, or potential qualification concerns.
- Determine whether a prospect should progress, remain under consideration, or be rejected.
- Answer routine questions about Inspekt AI and the Drone Pilot Network independently once trained.
- Recognize when genuinely technical or operational questions should be escalated.
- Maintain professional relationships with promising operators who may become relevant for future projects.
- Drone Pilot Network Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate and current records in Attio.
- Record outreach activity, responses, qualification status, equipment, geographic coverage, availability, and relevant operational information.
- Ensure every active lead has a clear status and next action.
- Maintain consistent follow-up across the pipeline.
- Prevent duplicate outreach and duplicate records.
- Keep qualification notes sufficiently detailed for other DPN team members to understand the operator without repeating previous research or conversations.
- Progress qualified operators to the appropriate next stage.
- Submit demo access requests for qualified operators according to the established process.
- Maintain visibility into leads awaiting review, qualification, demo access, onboarding, or future follow-up.
- Ensure CRM information accurately reflects the current state of the DPN pipeline.
- Commercial and Operational Intelligence
- Understand why Inspekt AI is sourcing operators in specific markets.
- Identify operators whose equipment, experience, and geographic coverage align with current or anticipated projects.
- Recognize opportunities to develop relationships with drone companies capable of supporting multiple projects or regions.
- Identify geographic coverage gaps and proactively source operators to address them.
- Flag strong operators or companies that may represent broader partnership opportunities.
- Provide feedback on market availability, operator capabilities, equipment trends, and sourcing challenges.
- Identify recurring objections or questions from prospective partners and communicate relevant insights to the DPN team.
- Continuously improve lead quality based on qualification outcomes and operational feedback.
- Collaboration and Performance Management
- Work closely with the Head of the Drone Pilot Network and Drone Pilot Manager.
- Participate in weekly meetings to review pipeline development, priorities, geographic requirements, qualification activity, and operator progression.
- Coordinate with Operations when technical or project-specific input is required.
- Incorporate feedback into future research, qualification, and outreach activity.
- Maintain visibility into personal performance against established KPIs.
- Complete the weekly demo access review every Monday.
- Submit a structured weekly activity report every Friday.
- Identify blockers early and communicate them clearly.
- Take ownership of improving results rather than focusing solely on activity volume.

- Demonstrable experience researching and identifying prospective customers, candidates, suppliers, partners, or service providers.

- Confidence conducting qualification, discovery, sales, recruitment, or introductory business calls.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
- Spanish proficiency is required.
- Additional language skills, particularly French, Italian, or Arabic, will be highly valued.
- Strong research and online investigation skills.
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining structured pipeline information.
- Familiarity with prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage high-volume activity while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned markets or sourcing requirements.
- Ability and willingness to learn technical concepts related to drones, inspections, data capture, and AI-powered building inspection.
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote environment.
- Preferred Experience
- Experience in B2B SaaS, technology, PropTech, ConTech, engineering, infrastructure, geospatial technology, or technical services.
Skills
- A proactive lead-generation professional who enjoys building pipeline from the ground up.
- Strong commercial instinct who understands that a contact is not automatically a qualified lead.
- A strong researcher capable of identifying relevant prospects and understanding why they may be valuable to Inspekt AI.
- Comfortable initiating conversations with new people and conducting qualification meetings.
- Curious professional capable of learning a technical product and industry.
- Ability to progressively move beyond scripts and conduct natural, informed conversations.
- Self-motivated professional who does not require constant direction.
- Retains information, incorporates feedback, and improves their work over time.
- Highly organized person capable of managing significant outreach and follow-up activity without losing visibility into individual opportunities.
- Strong attention to detail and CRM discipline.
- Commercially minded professional capable of distinguishing activity from meaningful pipeline development.
- Knows when to solve a problem independently and when specialist input is genuinely required.
- Comfortable collaborating effectively with an international team in a remote working environment.
- Takes ownership of outcomes, not simply assigned tasks.
