Drone Pilot - Gig Opportunity

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform image data collection using high-resolution cameras via Android or iOS devices, and drones.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight operations such as airspace coordination, equipment assembly and disassembly, and hazard mitigation.
• Ensure safe and compliant drone operations, utilizing smooth flight techniques and capturing images from multiple angles.
• Maintain data integrity through regular checks on image quality, sensor accuracy, and proper storage of collected data.
• Collaborate with managers to understand project requirements and deliverables, and perform quality checks to meet client expectations.
• Handle interactions with insureds professionally, providing clear explanations about the nature of the work being conducted.
• Proficiently use software, data collection platforms, and associated workflows, including the use of Eberl platforms for scheduling and personal profiles.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

• A backup high-resolution drone (DJI Preferred) that follows all FAA guidelines – approved.
• Adequate equipment to provide an 8+ hour daily workload.

• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage and communicate delays effectively.
• Physical capability to perform tasks such as standing, kneeling, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Proficiency with technology platforms and dashboards for data analysis and process improvement.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to travel frequently and drive for extended periods.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and around commercial hazards.
