Drone Assembly Technician - Entry Level
About the role
DMR Technologies is a Louisiana-based drone manufacturer developing advanced unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) for agriculture, defense, and commercial applications. Built on the Bayou, DMR combines hands-on manufacturing with innovative drone technology to build aircraft designed to solve real-world problems. We're growing our team in Lafayette and looking for mechanically or electrically inclined individuals who want to build, assemble, and work with cutting-edge drone technology.
DMR Technologies is seeking an Entry-Level Drone Assembly Technician with strong mechanical or electrical aptitude and a desire to develop hands-on technical skills in drone manufacturing. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with tools, assembling equipment, troubleshooting mechanical or electrical systems, and learning how things work. Prior drone experience, hobbyist drone-building experience, or an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate is a plus—but not required. We are willing to train the right person who demonstrates strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Candidates with backgrounds in automotive repair, electrical work, electronics, industrial maintenance, robotics, aviation, or hands-on technical hobbies are encouraged to apply.
