Driving Security Guard

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer for a post that focuses heavily on customer service and building meaningful connections. You will work with people across all shifts in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Computer skills (Outlook, visitor management, and access control)
• Work in the lobby and perform walking patrols, in addition to vehicle patrols

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills
• 2 years of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience
• State license if required
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Computer literacy and phone skills
• Must have access control and customer service experience
• You are at least 21 years of age due to contractual agreements
• You have an active DCJS License

Pay & Schedule

• Location: Fredericksburg, VA / Insurance Headquarters Building
• Schedule: 2pm to 10pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Competitive hourly wage of $20.25 / HR
