About the role

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Topeka is hiring movers and drivers to join their growing team. The company values treating everyone with respect and prioritizes the safety of its employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive moving experience for customers
• Safely load and unload customers' belongings
• Maintain communication with customers and fellow team members throughout the move
• Act as the team leader, executing a game plan for the move
• Safely drive and maneuver a 26-foot moving truck
• Complete daily truck inspections and equipment inventory
• Comply with FMCSA and DOT regulations
• Complete move paperwork and customer payment

Requirements

• Be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Movers must be 18 years or older
• Drivers must be 21 years or older
• Driver candidates must have a valid driver's license, be approved by the insurance company, and pass a DOT medical examination (paid for by the company)
• Have the ability to safely lift/carry heavy items throughout the day using moving equipment

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurants, food services, server, general labor, landscaping, transportation, construction, production, manufacturing, factory, assembly or warehouse is helpful
