Driver/Yard Person

40 hours per week | Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 15:30 and Friday 06:00 to 11:00 | Up to £16.66 per hour, dependent on experience

About the role

We're looking for an HGV Driver / Yard Operative to support the movement of vehicles between our Warwick site and local storage locations, while helping keep our operation running smoothly. Based on site, you'll play an important role in ensuring vehicles are moved, stored and maintained to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Transporting vehicles between our Warwick site and local storage depots
• Moving and shunting vehicles within the factory and yard areas
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any damage or defects
• Completing paperwork accurately and on time
• Ensuring vehicles are stored safely and professionally
• Working closely with colleagues across Production to support daily operations

Requirements

• A valid HGV Class 2 licence
• Previous experience driving HGVs
• A strong focus on safety, quality and compliance
• Good communication and organisational skills
• A reliable and proactive approach, with the flexibility to support where needed
• The ability to remain calm and effective in a busy environment
