Driver / Warehouse- HOLT Truck Centers

Department: HOLT Truck (TRUCK) • Full Time • HTT - Tyler • Reports to: Billy Barton

About the role

The Parts Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate delivers customer parts with excellent customer service, maintains inventory control, and ensures a safe and secure environment. This position also performs warehouse duties including stocking parts, cycle counting, pulling orders, processing dirty cores, and general warehouse tasks.

The incumbent is expected to model the following practices daily:

Responsibilities

• Model, promote, reinforce, and reward consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes
• Deliver parts to customers safely, efficiently, and on time
• Ensure proper inventory control and address customer needs or issues
• Verify and pull correct items for delivery orders
• Load orders into delivery vehicle properly and maintain vehicle condition
• Deliver orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Return cores for credit and incorrectly ordered parts
• Stock shelves as needed and build relationships with customers
• Ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time
• Resolve erroneous parts deliveries quickly
• Adhere to all safety policies and company procedures
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Some delivery experience preferred
• General knowledge of the trucking industry is helpful
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• General understanding of inventory management

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, kneel, squat, crawl, bend, and twist
• Climb and lift up to and over 80 lbs. frequently
• Constant visual requirements

Work Environment

• Duties performed inside and outside the building(s)
• Exposure to dirt, dust, heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, odors, wetness, humidity, and occasional darkness
