About the role

The Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for delivering parts and materials to customer sites and between company facilities while supporting warehouse operations. This role assists with shipping, receiving, inventory management, packaging, assembly activities, facility support, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Transportation & Deliveries
    • Drive company vehicles, including DOT trucks, to deliver parts and materials to customer locations.
    • Transport materials between warehouse and facility locations.
    • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Warehouse Operations
    • Ship and receive materials.
    • Move, organize, and maintain inventory throughout storage locations.
    • Assist with packaging, skid building, and crate loading.
  • Assembly & Technical Support
    • Perform safety checks on regulators and other products after completing required training.
    • Assemble valves, regulators, and related products in support of the sales organization.
  • Facilities & Event Support
    • Assist the Facilities Manager with daily operational activities.
    • Support preparation and cleanup activities for corporate events.
    • Work occasional overtime or adjusted schedules, as needed, to support deliveries, inventory activities, and corporate events.
  • Safety & Housekeeping
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
    • Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
    • Meet DOT and customer safety requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • 2+ years of driving experience with a valid Driver's License and driving record that meets company insurability requirements.
  • 1+ years of shipping and receiving experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a role requiring strong attention to detail.
  • 2+ years of experience providing internal or external customer support.
  • 2+ years of experience with general shipping and receiving concepts.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including safely lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Successful completion of a DOT physical and drug screen is required prior to the start of employment.
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Trade school education and/or technical training.
  • Forklift operating experience.
  • Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
  • Experience supporting inventory control and material handling operations.
  • Mechanical or technical experience, including the use of hand tools.
