Driver Warehouse Associate

Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Aid in delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers.
• Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
• Verify all items received against items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return them to the Sales Center Manager.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns.
• Appropriately use and maintain OF device.
• Apart from the above responsibilities, this individual is accountable for all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of verifiable current experience driving a company pickup truck.
• Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
• Effective communication skills and ability to provide superior service to customers.
• A willingness to learn and grow with the Company.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months Warehouse experience including forklift operation.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
