About the Role
This position serves our customers by being trained to perform the job duties of different positions within the sales team and providing coverage during absences.
Responsibilities
- Delivers, stocks, rotates, displays, and maintains all products at customer locations according to established standards.
- Maintains good working relationships with customers, consumers, Territory Account Managers, Territory Delivery Managers, and other internal Pepsi employees.
- Invoices customers for sales and collects payment (e.g., cash, check).
- Handles, stocks, and organizes alcoholic products.
- Communicates with retailers and Pepsi management on pricing, products, programs, and issues that may arise.
- Adheres to all company policies, standards, and procedures (e.g., OSHA, safety requirements, AIB, Pepsi standards, Federal/State/Local laws) and wears required personal protective equipment.
- Maintains customer product inventory by delivering appropriate amounts of product to meet needs until the next scheduled delivery.
- Completes required paperwork (e.g., DOT logs) and maintains confidentiality of product pricing, promotions, and sensitive information.
- Communicates with supervisors and co-workers about retailer situations to maintain customer service standards.
- Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance, and works overtime as required.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
- 6-12 months of previous sales experience with a consumer product line and customer relations experience.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License; must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment.

- Ability to be trained on equipment such as a two- and four-wheel hand cart, pallet jack, straddle stacker, handheld computer, printer, and other mechanical equipment.
- Ability to drive a combination vehicle, lift heavy product repetitively, and accurately count inventory on the vehicle.
