We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business. Join our global team of passionate waste industry professionals as a Driver, responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle and providing prompt and complete collection services.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete pre- and post-operation inspection of a commercial vehicle in accordance with FCC policy to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, etc. are in proper working order.
• Safely operates commercial vehicles on assigned routes to include highways, residential communities, and alleyways.
• Operates manual and/or automatic controls in accordance with FCC's safety policies and procedures.
• Courteously interacts with all necessary personnel, dispatchers, and others on a daily basis to ensure all services are completed in a timely and professional manner.
• Continuously monitors the condition of the vehicle to ensure it is operationally ready at all times to minimize downtime.
• Accurately completes required documents and other reports as needed.
• Maintains adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
• Responsible for adhering to and upholding all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Class B commercial driver’s license.
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.
• Must meet all qualifications as defined under Department of Transportation regulations.
• Drug-free workplace; substance abuse testing is a condition of initial onboarding and continued employment.
