Driver Supervisor (Transportation Supervisor)

About the role

An opportunity exists on our highly accomplished resident services team to ensure that residents receive all appropriate assistance during outings. The selected candidate is responsible for supervising the transportation staff responsible for transporting residents to and from appointments and outings using the community vehicles; may include bus, van, limousine, and sedan.

This position requires a Class B Commercial Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Supervise transportation staff responsible for transporting residents to and from appointments and outings.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a bus/van driver.
• Prior leadership role or supervisory experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Valid and current driver's license.
• Possess or be willing and able to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) upon hire.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
• Clean DMV driving record.
• Knowledge of the surrounding neighborhood area.
• Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to deal with stress.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Client and customer-focused approach to problem solving and goal setting.
