Driver/Stockroom Expeditor

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver orders
• Ship and/or receive materials
• Maintain stock areas and inventory
• Use strong customer service skills when interacting with customers
• Partner with Service Center operations team to provide first class service for customers
• Count and verify incoming materials
• Prepare sales orders
• Stock and supply areas
• Verify merchandise and ensure accuracy
• Work from daily schedules, work orders, verbal and written instructions
• Operate motor truck, hand and mobile lift equipment, simple hand and power tools, weighing scales, postage meters
• Pick up and deliver orders, equipment, and mail as required
• Sort assignments and arrange most efficient routes
• Assist in counter and telephone sales, order pulling, customer calls as needed
• Maintain clean driving record

Requirements

• 1+ years proven customer service / warehouse experience, ideally in a distribution or parts counter environment
• Basic computer skills, accurate data entry skills, math & mechanical aptitude, basic reading skills
• Use of proper English grammar, written and verbal
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR)
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, and regular lifting of 50 lbs. or more
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred knowledge of industrial distribution products
• Warehouse experience
