Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver orders
Ship and/or receive materials
Maintain stock areas and inventory
Use strong customer service skills when interacting with customers
Partner with Service Center operations team to provide first class service for customers
Count on you to perform various warehouse duties such as receiving and verifying incoming materials, maintaining stock areas, preparing sales orders, picking up and delivering orders, stocking supplies, verifying merchandise, and ensuring accuracy
Work from a daily schedule, work orders, verbal and written instructions
Operate motor truck, hand and mobile lift equipment, simple hand and power tools, weighing scales, postage meters
Sort assignments and arrange most efficient route
Absorb assistance in counter and telephone sales, order pulling, customer calls as needed
Maintain clean driving record

Requirements

1+ years proven customer service / warehouse experience, ideally in a distribution or parts counter environment
Basic computer skills, accurate data entry skills, math & mechanical aptitude, basic reading skills
Use of proper English grammar, written and verbal
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR)
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend and regular lifting of 50 lbs. or more
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred knowledge of industrial distribution products, warehouse experience, and ability to demonstrate teamwork, ambition, innovation, accuracy, integrity, and professionalism
Desired characteristics include desire and ability to quickly learn new processes and systems, ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
