About the role
We’re looking for a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to safely operate a concrete mixer, delivering loads to commercial and residential work sites. This role involves navigating varied conditions, including uneven terrain, and handling extension chutes weighing 30–50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of concrete loads to job sites.
- Adapt discharge methods to various site settings and conditions.
- Attach and manage extension chutes for precise concrete pouring.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the ready-mix truck.
- Provide outstanding customer service and uphold a professional company image.
- Coordinate with dispatch and team members for efficient operations.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B).
- High School diploma preferred.
- Must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Acceptable CSA and MVR record; no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in construction and transportation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Knowledge of traffic routes and basic truck maintenance (desirable).
Working Conditions

- Work in diverse environments, including outdoor industrial settings.
- Frequent walking, sitting, lifting (up to 50 pounds), pushing, pulling, and climbing.
