Driver Professional - Parcel Van

About the role

The Norristown, PA location is seeking a dynamic and motivated Driver Associate to join the transportation team. You would deliver medical supplies and equipment on bulk/straight truck routes, with one position assigned a regular bulk truck route and the other serving as a cover driver for any bulk or parcel route.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulk/straight truck to deliver medical supplies and equipment.
• Follow assigned routes (regular bulk truck route) or cover any bulk/parcel route as needed.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with DOT physical requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent service.
• Resolve problems that arise during deliveries.
• Load and unload items, including lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Sit and stand for extended periods (3 + hours) as required.

Requirements

• Current valid US Driver’s License.
• Minimum 6 months experience operating a bulk/straight truck or larger delivery vehicle.
• Ability to meet and maintain DOT physical standards.
• Maintain a safe driving history.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Problem‑resolution skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Frequently required to sit for 3 or more hours.
• Frequently required to stand for 3 or more hours.

Pay

• Base rate: $22.77 per hour.
• Full‑time, permanent position.
• Transportation bonus incentive – potential to earn an extra $300‑$600 every 4 weeks.
• Additional compensation may include annual bonus or long‑term incentive opportunities based on performance, experience, skills, equity, market evaluations, and location.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, start at 6 AM and work until completion of route.
