Driver - Per Diem

Job Description

The Driver will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the ECF Resident while transporting them to and from medical appointments at various hours and days of the week. The Driver will complete all other duties assigned such as mapping daily routes as medical appointments occur, communicating with DON/Designee by telephone any appointment changes/transportation delays and problem-solving any transportation issues. The Driver will also be responsible for making sure that the van is cleaned and in working order after each use, as well as coordinating all regular scheduled maintenance.

• Ability to build rapport with residents and a positive attitude are required.
• Commitment to treat patients with dignity and respect is required.
• Must be capable of working independently, presents a positive image by professional appearance, attitude, personality, customer service and body language.
