Driver Part-Time

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting residents safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism. The Driver will operate company vehicle van, and wheelchair lift, and may be required to handle loading/unloading tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle van to take residents to designated locations.
• Load and unload residents on the wheelchair lift if needed.
• Ensure that all residents arrive on time while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
• Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps to find the best routes for timely deliveries.

Requirements

• Valid driving license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of experience as a driver or one year of experience in an Assisted Living community.
• Basic knowledge of Dementia and Alzheimer's.
• Good computer skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the position as listed.

Pay

The Pay Range For This Role Is 17 - 17.95 USD per hour (LSL, Hopkins Creek).
