Driver - Part Time

About the role

Community Health Partnership of Illinois (FQHC) is a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization seeking drivers for Champaign, Kankakee, and Princeville surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Delivering packages from site to site.
• Transporting patients to and from home to medical appointments.
• Supporting medical outreach and education in a timely manner.
• Providing front office support as needed.
• Operating the CHP Mobile Clinic by arriving early to outreach events and getting the Mobile clinic ready for patient care.
• May be required to work nights and weekends to support outreach activities.

Requirements

• Must have a CDL license.
• Transport clients and packages to and from Health Center Clinics.
• Transport clients/patient to and from medical appointments.
• Arrive at destinations on schedule.
• Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
• Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Maintain a route log daily, mileage records and repair records up to date.
• Always interact with clients professionally.
• Ensure that the vehicle is always clean, meets state requirements, fueled and ready for use.
• Arrange for vehicle repairs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a clean driving record, be detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
