About the role

Tague Lumber is seeking a Box Truck Driver to operate our well-maintained vehicles and deliver building materials to local job sites. This role requires providing friendly, professional service while ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service while operating all equipment safely and complying with all applicable highway rules and regulations.
• Previous box truck driving experience, preferably in building materials.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all materials are properly secured for transport.
• Inspect and process customer returns according to company procedures.
• Operate a forklift (maintain certification) and/or pallet jack as needed.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure required preventive maintenance is completed on assigned vehicles.
• Maintain compliance with all safety policies and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Med Card).
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
