About the role

As a Delivery Driver at Sunbelt Rentals, you will deliver and pick up various equipment and supplies to customer worksites. This role operates a vehicle with a gross weight of less than 26,000 pounds in diverse driving conditions, including construction zones, urban, suburban, and rural traffic.

The physical demands include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up equipment and supplies to/from customer worksites
• Operate delivery vehicle safely in various driving conditions
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of paperwork
• Communicate effectively with customers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Valid Driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• Knowledge of tools and equipment based on the assigned store’s fleet
• Detail orientation for accurate paperwork
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and crouching
• Bilingual speakers may be required at some locations

Pay

Base pay range: $24.58 - $36.87 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on factors including location, education, training, and experience.
