Driver- Non CDL

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Collect and transport goods, products, lab samples, etc., from all assigned company and customer locations according to the established schedule(s)
• Follow schedules and use navigation apps to plan each route based on road and traffic conditions
• Complete documentation such as logs, mileage, or cargo reports
• Keep supervisor informed of any requests or concerns brought to the driver’s attention by customers
• Report any situations that arise during the delivery process (e.g., delay in route, accidents or vehicle breakdown)
• Maintain assigned vehicle in good working order
• Perform vehicle maintenance checks and advise management of needed maintenance and mechanical problems
• Collect payments, document amount, and offer receipts when applicable
• Provide support to department when not transporting goods or products

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Delivery experience preferred
• Certification and/or License - valid driver’s license with no significant restrictions or violations; must obtain any certifications/licenses required by regulatory agencies as a condition of continued employment
